Azimuth Gears on Kaul-Tronics H-180 Mount

Azimuth Gears on Kaul-Tronics H-180 Mount

Elevation Gears on Kaul-Tronics H-180 Mount

This is the first version of the SRT antenna mount delivered.  It consists of two Kaul-Tronics H-180 horizon to horizon mounts with the elevation mount on top of the Azimuth mount.  The gears seem rugged and the motors are accessible (unlike the Robot mount now in use).  Position sensing is accomplished by a reed switch mounted on the motor drive shaft.  It can be seen in the bottom picture mounted on the white motor cover.
